According to the company, the agreement was made with the aim of enhancing the precise optical performance and production efficiency required for next-generation displays. Based on this agreement, the two companies plan to jointly establish a mass production system for high-value-added backlight products and actively pursue customer-tailored technology development.
Under the agreement, MEMSLUX will oversee optical simulations and mold designs tailored to customer requirements, leveraging its high-precision 3D micro-pattern design and master mold fabrication technologies. Using this foundation, TOP RUN will handle the overall mass production process, including light guide plate injection and backlight module assembly. In the initial stage, both companies will prioritize verifying productivity and quality through pilot mass production tests, and based on the results, they will jointly evaluate whether to expand full-scale production.
Furthermore, the two companies will closely collaborate across the entire value chain, including joint technology development, establishing quality management standards, and preparing customer response systems. In particular, leveraging their strategic partnership, they plan to actively expand orders from global display manufacturers and acquire new customers.
MEMSLUX is an optical-specialized company with technological competitiveness in light guide plates, which are core components of display and lighting products, based on its proprietary 3D micro-patterning technology.
